Dlar Eyes Swift Return to MLBB Competition with Multiple Offers on the Table

Former Evos Legends export Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera is likely to make immediate return to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitive scene sooner than expected. A few days ago, he said that one of the teams in the MLBB Pro League Philippines had already offered him to play for them.

Around a month ago, he officially left Evos Legends after failing to secure a spot as a regular player since joining the team in August 2022. Shortly after, he stated that he would return to Philippines to improve his skills in order to return to professional competition in the following year.

His intention to return to professional competition was reaffirmed a few days ago when he visited the MPL Philippines Season 12 venue in Shooting Gallery Studios, Makati City. There, he was frequently asked about his plans after leaving Indonesia, to which he replied that he has gotten offers from several teams in MPL PH and may join one of them before MPL PH Season 13 begins in 2024.

Still, he is not yet willing to disclose full details about the teams that have been in touch with him since then. He hinted that one of the teams that approached him is a strong contender in the MPL PH competition and may participate in the international tournament.

Apart from these offers, there is also a possibility that he will return to Indonesia if a big offer comes his way. According to an Indonesian source, Dewa United is looking into the idea of signing the 24-year-old Filipino when MPL Indonesia Season 12 concludes. Some believe he will be signed as a future replacement for Sebastian “Pendragon” Arthur, who is currently underperforming as their exp laner.

If he accepts the offer, it would be a huge win for DU, who had been longing to add a Filipino player to their roster. The MPL ID debutant took the MLBB SEA community by surprise a month ago after their plans to recruit the Blacklist International icons, Jonmar “OHMYV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Rosario, were revealed to the public.
