It’s just a little over two weeks from now before we witness one of the most anticipated international esports competitions in Southeast Asia. The fourth edition of the MLBB World Championship (M4) will take place in Jakarta from January 1-15 2023.
This year’s M4 is eagerly anticipated for a number of reasons. The competition will take place in Indonesia in front of a live audience for the first time. In addition, Vietnam and Myanmar will also return to the M3 World Championship this year after missing out on last year’s competition.
And recently, Moonton published the official schedule for these matches, which includes group and knockout match adjustments, along with updates regarding the group and knockout matches.

New venues and policy
Moonton also announced a change of venue for the group stage and knockout matches, as the XO Hall, which was originally scheduled to host the group stage matches, was destroyed in a fire last week. The new ground for the group stage games will be held in Bali United Studio, West Jakarta.
Tennis Indoor Senayan, on the other hand, will be the new venue for the M4 2023 knockout round.
In addition, to comply with Indonesia’s new policy of using public venues as an entertainment stage, Moonton has officially announced that they will be reducing seating capacity for knockout games. Moonton will issue refunds to fans who had purchased knockout round tickets, especially those that bought them earlier this December.
If you were one of those who purchased purchases this month, you can find more detailed refund information by checking the announcement email from Blibli.
