Patch 6.08 came with some major updates, affecting many Agents and roughing up the tier list. Here is a list of the S-Tier Valorant Agents you can try your hand at if you want the best of the best.
Yes, you can still use anyone your heart desires and still be successful. Mastering an Agent pays dividends, but this list is just an indicator of who has the tactical advantage in the current meta.
Fade
Fade has been popular since her release last year in Act 4 Episode 3 and has continued to be. Her toolkit makes her one of the best Initiators to have on a team and not to mention, other than tracking down opponents, she can inflict them with Nearsight, Deafen, or Decay.
Gekko
Despite being the newest Agent on this list, Gekko has become a go-to for many players. As they got more comfortable with his playstyle, they learnt how best to utilise his toolkit and abilities – especially Wingman and Mosh Pit. Ultimately, making him a very strong Agent in the right hands.
Viper
As a Controller, Viper can both lock down a site while also being good with attack. With a poison that can decay opponents and make them more vulnerable to attacks, she can pretty much hold her own without any help.
Jett
To no surprise, the last on this list is Jett. You cannot write an S-Tier Valorant Agent list and leave her out.
Since her introduction to the free-to-play first-person shooter game, she has been solid – enough to solo a game if she has to. With her ultimate, she does not even need a weapon. But even then, her ability to hold a site makes her a great member of a team as well.
Do you agree with this list? Which other Valorant Agents should we have included? Remember, this does not set in stone your success rate with these Agents and others. It’s how you play them that truly counts.
