It’s official, folks! Talon just hopped on board the PUBG Mobile Super League 2024 (PMSL 2024) as a partner team, and they’re all set to represent Indonesia in the upcoming tournament. They’re one of the 20 teams gearing up for action in the revamped PUBGM league.
These esports pros are diving into the PMSL 2024 Spring next month, alongside other big names like Bigetron Red Villains, RRQ, Boom Esports, Alter Ego Ares, Voin Esports, and Morph GPX, all hungry for a spot in the grand finals among the top 16.
Talon Esports is stoked to be part of PMSL 2024, aiming to showcase Southeast Asia’s top gaming talents. Keep an eye out for more details on their roster and local initiatives for the Indonesian gaming community coming in 2024.
Talon’s already a force to be reckoned with in mobile esports in the SEA region, rocking three Arena of Valor domestic league titles in Thailand and snagging the AWC 2021 world championship title. They also saw a victory in the Philippines Open 2023 for Pokemon Unite.
But it’s not just about mobile gaming for Talon—they’ve got their hands in PC game competitions like Dota 2, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Valorant. They’ve been building up their ties with Indonesian fans, especially in Dota, by picking up the talented Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman, who wowed everyone in international tournaments. And this positive connection with the Indonesian community seems to be something the organization wants to cultivate further.
According to Talon Esports CEO Sean Zhang, the organization is eager “to support the amazing talent within Indonesia by providing a platform for players to showcase their gameplay, personalities, and individual brands on the regional and even global stages.” He also hopes to see a strong partnership develop between Talon, PUBGM Esports, and the Indonesian esports community.
