PUBG Mobile Super League SEA Fall 2023 Week 3: Persijavos Surges to the Top, FaZe Upends Prediction

The regular season of the PUBG Mobile Super League SEA Fall 2023 has concluded with a surprise from the Persijavos squad, who surged to the top of the league rankings in the last week, surpassing crowd favorites such as RRQ, Bigetron Red Villains, Vampire Esports, and D Xavier.

After spending the previous two weeks deadlocked in sixth place, star-studded Indonesia has finally reestablished itself as one of Southeast Asia’s powerhouses. With 124 eliminations and three WWCD in week 3, the team won a total of 189 points thanks to the twin combo of Made “Zuxxy” Pramudita and Made “Luxxy” Prabaswara.

As a result, they have risen to the top of the PMSL SEA Fall 2023 league rankings, overtaking their more favored rivals such as RRQ and Bigetron RV. The former held the top rank the previous week owing to Yoga “Nerpehko” Rahman’s brilliance, which separated them from Bigetron by a single WWCD.

Aside from Persijavos, FaZe Clan from Thailand also came as a surprise by surging up to second position in the daily standings with a total of 188 points from 119 eliminations and 3 WWCD. Eventually, they moved up to 15th in the league standings and qualified with the minimum points required to avoid elimination.

The mighty fall

Boom Esports, on the other hand, was the only Indonesian participant that did not advance to the grand finals. Even though they performed well in the final week, their results were insufficient to overtake the Playbook Esports and FaZe Clan teams, who were marginally ahead of them. The hungry beast finished in 17th place with a total of 22 league points.

Further down the rankings, the hometown boys, Team Secret and Don’t Break Dream, failed to reverse their downward trend and were eliminated in positions 18th and 20th, respectively. Meanwhile, Vietnam’s Box Gaming finished 19th and became the only team with no WWCD point in the competition.

The PMSL SEA Fall 2023 grand finals will be held from 25 to 27 August 2023 at Sunway Velocity Mall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The remaining 16 teams will battle for the top 6 in this round to advance to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 competition in Turkey this November.
