In a thrilling culmination of 18 rounds spread across three intense days, the prestigious title of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 has once again found its home in the skilled hands of the Asian region. IHC Esports, representing with flair in Istanbul, Turkey, emerged victorious in a spectacular showdown, reaffirming Asia’s dominance on the PUBGM global stage.

Taking center stage at Istanbul’s Ulker Stadium and Hall, IHC Esports showcased an impressive performance, amassing a total of 142 points, featuring a staggering 110 eliminations and a well-deserved Chicken Dinner. Spearheaded by the outstanding skills of Zolboot “Zyol” Bayartsengel, the Mongolian powerhouse left spectators breathless as they relentlessly battled until the climactic final day of the competition.

Hot on the heels of IHC Esports, Stalwart Esports (STE) displayed their prowess on the initial two days of competition. Despite surpassing their counterparts in WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner) points, STE fell just short of the top spot by a mere four points, settling for the runners-up title. Their formidable position prior to Matches 18 and 19 of the Finale took a hit, as they managed to secure only two points in the crucial final round.

In addition to these formidable contenders, last year’s surprise package, Alpha7 Esports, claimed the third-best performing team title in the championship, accumulating an impressive 131 points, including 77 eliminations. This marked another remarkable third-place finish for the Brazilian squad, following their similar feat at the PMGC 2022 Grand Finals in Jakarta. Meanwhile, 4Merical Esports, another Mongolian participant, clinched the fourth position with 124 points and 2 WWCD, solidifying their nation’s reputation as a force to be reckoned with in this year’s Global Championship.

As the crowned champions of PMGC 2023, IHC Esports will be taking home the grand prize of a substantial US$453,500. Adding to the accolades, Zyol’s stellar contributions in the team have earned him the coveted title of MVP of PMGC 2023. The anticipation lingers as we await Mongolia’s endeavor to uphold its dominance as the emerging powerhouse in international PUBGM competitions next year in England.
