MLBB Pro League Indonesia S13 has hit the midway mark, ushering in a thrilling pause before its anticipated return on April 19th. The competition has been nothing short of spectacular, with Bigetron Alpha dominating the standings, closely trailed by Onic Esports, Aura Fire, and Alter Ego.
In a gripping showdown last Friday (3/29), Bigetron Alpha showcased their prowess, dropping Rebellion Esports to the elimination zone with a flawless victory. The dynamic duo of Eman “Emann” Sangco and Kenneth “Kenn” Marcelo spearheaded an assault that left RBL struggling to maintain its strategy, securing a swift triumph in the opening game.
RBL, however, refused to back down, launching a fierce counterattack in the second match. From the beginning to the mid-game clashes, RBL dominated the battlefield, stripping BTR down to the final base and nearly clinching victory by the 23rd minute.
Yet, in a breathtaking turn of events, BTR rallied against the odds, staging a daring comeback led by the indomitable I Gusti “Xorizo” Made Indra and Hengky “Kyy” Gunawan. With nerves of steel, The Red Robot pulled a remarkable turnaround, forcing a thrilling 16-16 stalemate by the 26th minute to win the round.
However, BTR’s bid for a mid-season winning streak was thwarted by reigning champions, Onic Esports, which finally broke the curse in a spectacular showdown on Saturday (3/30). The Yellow Porcupine’s Filipino ace, Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol, once again stole the spotlight with a stellar performance, guiding his team to a flawless victory over BTR.
In the race behind BTR and Onic Esports, Aura Fire continued their upward trajectory, securing third place after a commanding 2-0 victory over Geek Fam last Saturday. Similarly, Alter Ego displayed their mettle, triumphing over Dewa United in a thrilling showdown on Sunday (3/31).
Meanwhile, the former powerhouses, Evos Glory and RRQ Hoshi, who had endured an unexpected dip in form until last week, showed signs of improvement following personnel changes ahead of week 4. Nevertheless, both teams must utilise this break wisely to refine their strategies and claw their way out of the elimination zone.
