Watch: Blacklist International’s Wise Soars in Competitive Wild Rift Debut

Let’s be real for a moment— the top tier MLBB competitive scene is just not the same without Blacklist International’s iconic duo Johnmar “OHMYV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Rosario. While the MPL Philippines continues to deliver exhilarating matchups, thanks to its unpredictability, there’s an undeniable hush in the air without them. Their signature style and witty responses have long been a cornerstone of the league’s allure, and it’s safe to say that fans are feeling the void keenly.

Thus, speculation about their potential return has been rife, but alas, it seems both players are not thinking to take a detour any time soon. While MLBB remains a topic of discussion in their content, there’s little indication of an imminent comeback, particularly for Wise, who has immersed himself in alternative gaming pursuits.

Beyond MLBB, both players have been exploring diverse projects. V33NUS, in addition to his Honor of Kings and MLBB routine, is diligently carving out a niche as a professional MLBB analyst, frequently delivering insightful analyses via his channel. Meanwhile, Wise appears to have found a new thrill in the competitive grind of LoL: Wild Rift.

In recent months, the V33Wise duo has shifted their attention to competitive play in WR, streaming their journey on individual YouTube channels. While V33NUS momentarily diverted his focus to other games, Wise remained steadfast in his pursuit to reach the highest tier available in the game, even expressing aspirations of professional play.

Wise’s aspirations materialized when he was announced as a participant in the ongoing prestigious Wild Rounds x Glam Slam event in the Philippines. Teaming up with other prominent gaming influencers in the Philippines, Wise showcased his prowess in dominating fashion.

In a captivating display of skill, Wise led his team to a convincing victory against Team Buunja in the event’s opening match. Demonstrating his versatility, the 23-year-old showcased masterful performances on Talon and Lee Sin, reaffirming his status as one of the Philippines’ premier jungler in mobile MOBA scene.

Wise’s decision to venture into the WR competition may raise eyebrows among his fans, particularly in light of Riot Games’ withdrawal of support for the WR professional scene outside of China. While Riot Games affirmed its commitment to community engagement in the Philippines, the allure of a professional WR career has waned for many players and talents in the region.

Nevertheless, Wise’s stellar performance serves as a testament to his adaptability and competitive drive. And considering the rocky relationship between the V33Wise duo and Moonton last year, it wouldn’t be too crazy to imagine Wise ditching MLBB for good and diving into something fresh. HoK, anyone?
