ONIC fight their way through RRQ to be crowned MPL ID Champions once again!

This year’s MPL ID delivered all the usual action and killer moments we come to expect. However, it’s no doubt most memorable to the crowning champions, ONIC. After 4 seasons of missing the top podium, they’ve finally pulled a narrow 4-3 victory against RRQ. Season 8 of MPL ID gives ONIC their second champion title.

In case you haven't heard yet, Indonesia now has 2 tiers in their Mobile Legends tournament. The first tier is the infamous MPL ID. The second is the newly christened MDL, abbreviation of Mobile Legends Development League. The MDL was created to breed new young talents from across Indonesia. Kicking off first in April 2020, the MDL is no longer a tier 2 anymore.
