Blacklist remains champion of the people

Despite failing to defend their championship title, Blacklist International remained the most popular team throughout MPL PH Season 11.

According to Esports Charts, Blacklist International recorded an average online viewership of 185,329 viewers during MPL PH Season 11, surpassing the average of the other participating teams, which was only 108,599 viewers throughout the season.

This achievement indicates that Blacklist International remains one of the most formidable teams. Although they struggled during the regular season, OhMyV33nus and his teammates managed to deliver surprising performances during the playoffs.

They eventually made it to the Grand Finals and secured their spot in MSC 2023 as the runners-up of MPL PH Season 11.

The second most popular team in MPL PH Season 11 was the champion, ECHO, with an average viewership of 179,432 throughout the season. Following them in third place was RSG Slate PH, who garnered an average viewership of 153,590 during MPL PH Season 11, demonstrating that they are still well-liked.

Throughout MPL PH Season 11, only four teams had above-average viewership: Blacklist International, ECHO, RSG Slate PH, and Bren Esports.

In terms of peak viewers, MPL PH Season 11 also saw an increase, reaching a peak viewership of 936,723 during the Grand Finals. Unfortunately, Blacklist International was unable to retain their title as they were defeated by ECHO with a score of 0-4 in the Grand Finals.

This result was quite disappointing as it marked their second loss in the Grand Finals, ending with an anticlimactic finish for Blacklist International.

Now, Blacklist International will strive to do their best in the upcoming MSC 2023 tournament, which will take place in June 2023.
