Finally made his move.
Bleed Esports has announced the signing of Daryl “iceiceice” Koh and Djardiel “DJ” Tutupsti as their new players, marking the return of two of Southeast Asia’s finest Dota veterans to the competitive scene.
Both players have finally found a new home after facing bad luck in the competitive scene. Ice was forced to leave the SMG squad due to a contract dispute in September 2022, and DJ had a rough time in the DPC SEA Winter Tour 2023, eventually leaving Fnatic after the team disbanded their Dota division last month.
This season marks their return as a pair since 2020 when they played for Fnatic. Ice cited DJ as the main reason for joining Bleed Esports, saying that he is happy to play in DPC without leaving Singapore due to his fear of flying. Ice will replace Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee in post three, while DJ will replace Prieme “PlayHard” Ejay at post four. The two players will be deactivated until further notice.
Bleed Esports surprised the audience by defeating veteran teams like Fnatic and Boom Esports in the DPC SEA Winter Tour 2023, despite being a newcomer and finishing sixth in January. With the inclusion of big names like ice and DJ, who are now playing with Jackky, Bleed Esports is a strong contender for the upcoming DPC SEA Spring Tour 2023.
