The highly anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) is just around the corner. Kicking off on Monday (7 June), the tournament pits 12 of the best teams in Southeast Asia against each other in the group stage.

Hyping ourselves up for the competition, here is a quick look at the top 3 teams to pray for and the daring dream of Evos to paint the winning seat blue.

Top 3 teams to pray for:

  1. RSG SG

Despite being one of the veteran teams in MPL SG, RSG SG showed a terrible performance during the regular season. Just as things were looking up for the team during the playoffs, Evos SG brutally destroyed them in the finals with a score of 3-0. For a shot at the finals, RSG SG has to hit the ground running on Monday.

  1. TODAK

Finishing at the top of their group for the regular season of MPL MY, Todak seemed to be in top form until they met their worst nightmares in the form of RSG MY. Losing not once but twice in the playoffs to the MPL MY season 7 winners, it will be a tall order for the team to recreate the success from the regular season.

  1. IDONOTSLEEP

Finally returning to MSC after 3 years, the skills and levels of the team remain up in the air as they go head-to-head against the biggest names in the MPL scene. Returning with yet another surprise, the Thailand team will also be the only team in the tournament to sport a mixed-gender team. All hopes and prayers that the team can relive their 2017 glory.

The Evos dream:

With two teams representing the white tigers, fingers remain crossed as fans cheer on the dream of Evos to monopolise the top 2 spots of the competition. Clinching the title of champion in their respective MPLs the competition between the 2 teams is expected to be fierce, with both teams equally likely to come out on top. However, our bet remains with Evos ID, simply due to their long history as a team.

With intimidating teams like Blacklist International and RSG MY in the mix, it’s never over till it’s over. Which team will claim glory and the lion’s share of US$150,000? Save the date and find out more here.
