The See-saw match between the two strongest teams of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia initially saw EVOS Legends fighting for their survival. But the team soon emerged not only alive but victorious, securing themselves the title of Season 7 champions.

The White Tigers pulled one over Bigetron Alpha with a score of 4-2 in a BO7 final.

Heading into the match, Bigetron Alpha had the slight edge. Building on their previous wins against EVOS Legends in the upper brackets, Bigetron Alpha easily secured the first game. They outlasted Evos Legends’ Diggie feeding strategy – a tactic to disrupt the farm of the opponent’s carry. Bigetron Alpha also bided their time well, and won a crucial team fight that helped them push their way to victory.

Confident from the first game, Bigetron hit the ground running and aggressively drew first blood before doubling their kills within a minute. However, the game soon turned when the White Tigers focused on the top lane turrets, allowing them to find their footing and make a massive push to victory with the Lord.

Determined not to go down without a fight, Bigetron pushed back hard to secure 10 kills within the first 9 minutes. They also secured 28,000 gold as well as their victory over EVOS Legends.

Down 1-2  and at risk of losing the competition, EVOS Legends shifted into an even higher gear and secured the remaining matches with back-to-back-to-back wins, proving their worth as champions and winning them the competition.

With the victory, EVOS Legends reclaimed their throne as the champions of MPL Indonesia. The last time the team won the tournament was back in 2019.

In addition to claiming the title, EVOS Legends also won the lion’s share of the US $300,000 prize money and will be participating in the upcoming Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021 together with runner-up Bigetron Alpha. The upcoming MSC is the first-ever online MSC and it will feature teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Singapore.
