May the 4th be with you! Amid all the Jedi and Sith cosplays, this year’s Star Wars Day could turn out to be even more special if you’re a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Star Wars fan.
Data miners recently dug up information that seemingly foreshadows a potential collaboration between both brands. Rumours include a Darth Vader skin for Argus, a Yoda/R2D2 skin for Cyclops, a stormtrooper skin for Balmond and a Rey skin for Eudora.
Seeing Darth Vader slash his way through waves of minions was a dream we never knew we had. The fallen angel Argus is expected to don the Sith Lord’s skin – pretty apt as Vader fell to the dark side as former Jedi Anakin Skywalker.
Aside from being decked in black armour, we think Argus’ sword will become Vader’s glowing red lightsaber. What better way to strike fear into the hearts of your foes? Bonus points if Moonton adds the lightsaber’s hum whenever Argus swings his sword.
Skillswise, Argus’ ranged “demonic grip”, which typically shows him throwing out a chain to pull himself forward, could manifest as a Force jump towards his target.
But what’s exciting is guessing how Argus’ ultimate will change. His “eternal evil” gives him wings and grants him immunity for a short period. This would be an amazing opportunity to buff Darth Vader’s cape or, dare we believe, put him in his TIE fighter which lets him fly around blasting enemies off the grid.
Over on the light side, our favourite Jedi Master Yoda could make an appearance as the new skin for Cyclops, who will turn from blue to green. We expect Cyclops’ mage clothes to be replaced with the iconic Jedi robes, and his pointy hat making way for two green ears.
Our biggest wish, though, is for the hourglass behind Cyclops to become Grogu a.k.a Baby Yoda. How cool would that be? We know Grogu has healing powers, which would fit perfectly with the cooldown effects of the hourglass.
Yes we know Yoda only has one lightsaber. But if the blue orbs in Cyclops’ “Planets attack” were replaced with mini green lightsabers that launch into foes, what an insane power that would be!
Cyclops’ ultimate “giant star power lockdown” has the greatest potential to be the best-looking visual. Imagine being chased across the entire map by an X-Wing, which we know Yoda can lift without difficulty.
Nothing official has been released by Moonton. But on Star Wars Day, remain hopeful we shall. For now, May the 4th be with you.
