Tencent’s ambitious plans are finally coming to fruition. Through its subsidiary, Level Infinite, the global launch of Honor of Kings is set for June 20, with pre-registration for Android and iOS now open until the release date. Adding to the excitement, Tencent has also announced that Malaysia will host the second season of the global Invitational event.
For the first time since its 2015 release, HoK will be officially available outside of China. Previously, players from regions such as North America, Europe, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines either played the global version, Arena of Valor, or downloaded the game via third-party access.
To celebrate the global launch, the game is running a pre-registration reward campaign, offering various in-game bonuses based on the number of pre-registrations by June 20. Here are the rewards at each milestone:
- Free Hero Ying & associated skin for all who pre-register
- Level 1 Milestone: 500 diamonds
- Level 2 Milestone: 2000 arcana fragments
- Level 3 Milestone: 5000 starstones
- Level 4 Milestone: 20 all-heroes free trial passes
Moreover, pre-registered players in regions where HoK is already available can enter a lucky draw for a chance to win fantastic in-game prizes, including:

The Invitational goes to Malaysia
For Southeast Asian fans, the excitement doesn’t stop there. The Invitational Season 2 will kick off in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on June 29, featuring top teams from Brazil, Turkey, SEA, MENA, LATAM, and Europe competing for a share of the $300,000 prize pool and a coveted spot in the HoK Invitational Midseason during the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.
Interestingly, although MLBB remains a dominant force in SEA, there has been growing interest from well-known esports organizations and players in HoK, especially in Indonesia and the Philippines. With the official global release on the horizon, expect Tencent to unveil detailed esports plans for the region soon.
