A Cinderella story unfolded at the grand finals of MLBB Pro League Singapore Season 6 in Suntec City Mall, with Team Flash snatching victory from the reigning champion RSG Singapore, thus breaking their chance for a back-to-back triumph. This historic win marks the first time the organization has clinched a championship in the region since its induction into the league back in Season 2.

Prior to this remarkable season, the Singaporean MLBB underdogs had been disregarded and written off, fielding a lineup composed of ‘old timers’ such as Bellamy “Lolsie” Yeov, Adam “Adammir” Chong, and loanee Jaymark “Hadess” Lazaro, who used to play with Geek Fam. However, they defied all odds, impressively dominating the regular season and dethroning RSG SG from their long-held first-place position.

Despite RSG SG’s strong performance in the playoffs, defeating HomeBois SG and Team Flash to secure their spot in the grand final, Team Flash captivated MPL SG spectators with their stunning comeback against EVIL in the Lower Bracket Finals earlier that day, propelling them to confront the MPL SG’s juggernaut.

RSG SG displayed dominance in the first two games, with Brayden “BRAYYY” Teo leading in the first game and I “Lucianqt” Pranipata utilizing this season’s top pick, Mathilda, to secure the second game. Team Flash managed to secure a win in the gripping third game, capitalizing on Lolsie’s mistakes, but RSG swiftly redeemed themselves, convincingly defeating Team Flash in the fourth game.

With victory almost in RSG SG’s grasp, the team intensified their efforts to finish the game swiftly, but Adammir’s Fredrinn skillfully protected his teammates from being targeted easily, allowing Hadess to wreak havoc with his Helcurt. Yet, as the game progressed, they struggled to prevent their opponents from scaling up in the late game.

Despite the net worth and item differences, RSG SG surged forward, nearly securing their historic victory by capturing the Lord around the 18th minute. However, in a surprising turn of events, Hadess found an opening and executed a backdoor attack, catching RSG SG off guard, ultimately leading Team Flash to a victorious sixth game.

Fueled by their unexpected defeat, RSG SG adopted a more aggressive approach, cornering Team Flash at their base 19 minutes into the game. Miraculously, Adammir defied the odds as he withstood a relentless assault in a 1v4 fight within the base, turning the tide against his assailants and forcing the game to a deciding match.

Weighed down by successive unexpected defeats, RSG SG appeared to lose their composure, managing to secure only one kill against Team Flash’s five kills. Once again, Hadess emerged as the standout player, driving his team to seal the game in just 14 minutes.

With this remarkable victory, Team Flash will take home the grand prize of $30,000 and a slot in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational 2023 (MPLI 2023) in Indonesia next month, as well as the M5 World Championship in the Philippines in December.
