Team Falcons, Fnatic, and Team Liquid Announce Partnerships with MPL Philippines Top Dogs

After a week of speculation, three major international organizations have announced official partnerships with AP Bren, Onic PH, and Echo, unveiling new branding for the upcoming MLBB Pro League Philippines Season 13 playoffs.

Just two days ago, reigning MLBB world champion AP Bren revealed a groundbreaking partnership with Saudi Arabian esports powerhouse Team Falcons. Renowned for their achievements in Dota and Fortnite, Falcons are now set to make a significant impact in the MLBB scene.

AP Bren has become the second MLBB team to join forces with Falcons, following the buyout of Team Occupy in the MENA region last year. Additionally, emerging reports suggest that Falcons may be following in the footsteps of Team Vitality’s recent buyout of an all-female MLBB team, with GPX Basreng being linked heavily to the Saudi organization.

The following day, Onic PH announced their collaboration with Fnatic via a social media post. Rebranded as Fnatic Onic PH, this partnership marks Fnatic’s return to the Philippine esports scene after disbanding their iconic SEA Dota squad in February 2023, which had competed at a professional level for over a decade.

And finally, the M4 champion Echo has unveiled their collaboration with European esports titan Team Liquid, which signifying the latter’s entry into the MLBB competitive scene. This partnership extends to Echo’s parent organization, Aura Esports, in Indonesia, as Liquid has acquired Stun.GG, the owner of both teams.

Under this new arrangement, the Philippine team will be known as Liquid Echo, while the Indonesian team will compete as Liquid Aura. Fans can anticipate Liquid Echo against RSG PH in the upcoming upper bracket of MPL PH S13, while Liquid Aura will face EVOS Glory in the MPL ID S13 knockout round.

Considering that Falcons, Liquid, and Fnatic are parts of the Esports World Cup Support Program, these partnerships are probably smart moves to get them into the biggest MLBB competition this summer. Plus, with how well these three Filipino teams have been playing, their chances of coming out on top are really high. Let’s see what these teams will bring to the highly anticipated MLBB clash of the year!
