Evos Legends Begins a New Era with Filipino Imports, Introduces Theo as Head Coach

Heads up! The MLBB Pro League Indonesia transfer window closed last week, but hold on to your phones because the fun is just getting started. There’s still a bunch of cool stuff waiting to be spilled, and right now, all eyes are on the Evos Legends team. They’re cooking up some serious changes that are bound to turn heads.

Just two days ago, the Blue Tiger roared with the announcement of their new head coach, John “Theo” Eusebio, taking the reins from Steven “Age” Gunawan. The 24-year-old Filipino, who made waves during the ONE Esports MPL Invitational in Jakarta back in November 2023, brings a fresh perspective to the team.

Given his successful stint coaching RSG PH in 2023, Evos fans are certainly buzzing with anticipation, hoping him to revitalize the team for the upcoming MPL ID Season 13.

But that’s not all—Evos Legends seems not done with its Filipino imports plan. After bidding farewell to fan favorites, Dalvin “Hijumee” Putra and Darrel “Tazz” Wijaya, two new Filipino players, Dexter “Exort” Martinez (Red Esports) and Jon “Super Red” Bordeos (Blacklist International), are rumored to be donning the Blue Tiger colors this season. The team’s decision to part ways with some familiar faces has sparked curiosity, and fans are eager to see the new lineup in action.

Additionally, there were whispers about a potential move for Blacklist’s Salic “Hadji” Imam, who was reportedly took trial for regular team weeks ago, but recent announcements from Blacklist International suggest otherwise. It seems Hadji will be staying put for now.

While the full details of the MPL ID S13 transfers are still under wraps, the glimpses we’ve seen so far promise an exhilarating season ahead in Indonesia. Evos Legends is not the only team making waves—Team RRQ, the domestic arch rival, has also dropped a bombshell by finalizing their S13 lineup, featuring top tier players and a coach from the Philippines. The battle for Indonesia supremacy in the upcoming season is shaping up to be nothing short of epic.
