It is no secret: The gaming and esports industry is booming.
Worth S$338 billion in 2022, the global gaming market is expected to more than double in size by the end of the decade, reaching approximately S$901 billion according to Fortune Business Insights. A report by Niko Partners also found that “Asia and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) account for over 56% of the estimated $1.3 billion global esports market”.
This presents an opportunity for many organisations – not limited to those within the industry – and some are already grabbing it with both hands. Here are just three examples of the industry transcending screens in Singapore.

G2 Esports x Ralph Lauren
Esports and fashion are two industries that have frequently worked together. One recent instance is G2 Esports x Ralph Lauren.
The German professional esports and designer clothing organisations worked together to release a “first-of-its kind” unisex capsule collection in July 2023. Consisting of T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, tracksuits and caps, each piece of apparel features the specially designed crest.
G2 Esports’ chief executive officer, Sabrina Ratih, spoke to The Drum about the partnership. She said: “This exciting capsule collection not only reinforces G2’s position as pioneers in the esports scene but also highlights our continuous efforts to push boundaries and bridge the gap between esports and lifestyle.”
